For those not interested in the industry leaders, Remington provides a really great budget option without compromising effectiveness. This hair dryer will style and dry your hair with ease – perhaps without the flourish and silkiness from the GHD Air Dryer – and provides you with all the accessories and attachments you need for basic styling.
The major downside is the short cable length but you can get around it by drying your hair sat down or having a mirror right next to a plug socket. For this price and this array of additional items, it might just be worth buying an extension lead to go with it.

If it’s time to replace your moulding hair brush, your dying hair dryer and that paddle brush that’s lost most of its teeth – this kit will have you well on your way to easy everyday hair care. The Remington Pro Dryer Kit has the two most useful attachments, concentrator nozzle and diffuser and they both fit well and work very effectively.
Hairbrushes have finite lives for several reasons; wooden ones get mouldy, bristle brushes get too matted and greasy and metal ones go rusty. Even those who take the utmost care of their brushes need to replace them every few years to really get the best out of them. It’s amazing how good it feels to use a brand new brush and you’ll soon realise what a state your old one was in.

Both paddle brush and round brush are very useful and to be included in this kit for such a great price is a huge bonus. I’m not really a fan of metal round brushes though for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they do rust and are very difficult to dry properly when washed and secondly, they just don’t look and feel very nice.
With three heat settings and two speed settings, this has the ideal range of settings for any type of hair. The standard cold shot button can set the style you’ve created and calm any flyaways.
This Remington hair dryer has a ceramic, removable grille that can be easily cleaned to prevent dust build up and serves to smooth hair and avoid uneven heating.

If you’re tall, you’ll have to sit down in front of your mirror and if you’re average height you might be able to use it frustration-free if your mirror is right next to the plug socket. How manufacturers are still making this mistake is beyond me – it’s crucial to have a lead between 2-3m.
This hair dryer and its accoutrements comes in a simple black case which is a bonus as it as more than one attachment. This means that everything can be stored easily out of the way and won’t literally gather dust. I like this touch and it’s definitely convincing me to recommend the product.
