Summary
If this hair dryer came with a concentrator nozzle and a diffuser it would possibly top the GHD Air Dryer. Other than that, I really have no complaints. This is a powerful hair dryer with a great range of temperatures that won’t let you down when you’re in a rush. It’s fast to use and leaves hair feeling impressively sleek and smooth.
This model is clearly built to last and Diva say that they’ve tested the model to 100,000 cycles which is far more information that most other brands give out. I honestly believe that if looked after (and a clean filter), this hair dryer will perform excellently for years. At such a great price, this is one of my favourites.

Diva is a brand only a few years old and is British through and through. Like GHD, they are aiming for high quality, professional level products from the get go and letting their reputation precede them. Several of their products have won numerous awards and it looks like they are set to become the new must-have in hair appliances; all without GHD’s hefty price tag.

This hair dryer looks pretty amazing coming out of the box and clearly has excellent design quality. It feels great to hold, is really comfortable in the hand and doesn’t weigh too much either.
The rubberised finished on the body of the dryer is a rather novel sensation but actually gives this hair dryer a much more quality feel than its plastic counterparts. It also has a 3m cable, which is the perfect length and no disappointments there.
With an impressive 4 temperature settings and 2 speed settings, you have the perfect range of power and heat to suit any type of hair. While some hair dryers are too hot even on their lowest temperature setting or too powerful even on their lowest speed setting – this one really has it all worked out perfectly.
Using ionic technology combined with a ceramic and tourmaline grille, this Diva Professional Styling Veloce dryer leaves hair smooth and sleek with no flyaways and no hot spots.

The rear filter is removable and easy to clean which is super important as keeping it dust free will extend its life and prevent it from overheating. This dryer is tested to 100,000 cycles, which is salon level quality and as a result it should last you for years.
This is one of the few dryers that really feels like it’s been made by a quality and pride driven company who actually want to offer the finest product available – which is exactly why GHD is also so fantastic. Diva are clearly following in their footsteps and at a better price.
