Pros
- Very effective at hair removal
- Cordless and rechargeable
- Good additions
- Two speed settings
Cons
- Long charge time
Summary
It may not have a big brand name behind it but there’s not much here to disappoint. Of the little known brands its undoubtedly the most effective and the most solidly made. It’s rechargeable and although it takes 6 hours to charge, it would easily last for long enough to finish the job before it dies.
I really like the plain design of this and the shaver head makes life a whole lot easier. The two-in-one aspect is such a good idea that, for this price, I would say this was pretty high up in the rankings.

In-Depth Review
iVog was recently involved in a legal battle with Softlines (owners of Emjoi) over a patent infringement and the company is small with little reputation. They don’t sell through many avenues but their epilator didn’t look cheap like the Wizzit and so it was worth checking out.
The iVog X-Tweez comes with:
- 1x Epilating Tweezer Head
- 1x Shaving Head
- 1x Clear Shaver Cover
- 1x Exfoliating Pad
- 1x Cleaning Brush
- 1x AC Plug.
With a plain white design, the iVog epilator looks like a decent product and comes with a nice range of extras. It’s rechargeable which is a big bonus but the charge time is 6 hours. Compared to some other epilators like the Braun cordless range, this is a pretty vast quantity of time. On full charge it then lasts for around half an hour to forty minutes. As long as it doesn’t run out before you’re finished, the long charge time shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
This is a dual epilator/shaver and the shaver head is really easy to remove and put on. This two-in-one capability makes it a good all round hair remover and does an excellent job with smooth, even hair removal. The rotating discs do a good job and you’ll find yourself only having to go over areas twice to get everything, if at all.
With two speed settings you can choose to be fast and efficient or, if you have more sensitive skin, you can choose the slow one. Speed settings seem to be commonplace on the high quality epilators and this product has the right amount of technology to make it good for long term use.
The exfoliating pad is a nice addition and it comes with a standard epilator cleaning brush. I’m pretty impressed with this one really, especially from such a little known brand. Its price puts it in the mid range epilators and if you don’t want to fork out the £100 for the more expensive ones, then this isn’t a bad one to get.
