No More Tweezers – Wizzit – Hair Removal Epilator Review

September 6, 2014 By Cute Hair Day

Wizzit No More Hair

Pros

  • It’s cheap

Cons

  • It’s poorly manufactured and feels as though it may break soon
  • It’s not effective at removing hair
  • Batteries drain quickly making it more expensive in the long run

Summary

There’s very little positive about this epilator and hair removal, especially an aggressive form such as epilation, is not something you want to skimp on. The price is not enough to recommend this product and it’s clearly made down to its price. A beginner using this would be put off for life so invest in something better.

In-Depth Review

There’s no brand information anywhere to be found for the Wizzit and it seems to be of fairly dubious original with reports of variations on the name turning up everywhere. Still, for the price, it seemed worth a try.

The No More Tweezers Wizzit comes with:

  • 1x Epilator
  • 1x Manual
  • 1x Cleaning Brush

First impressions aren’t great with this epilator. It looks and feels cheaply constructed and not really something you’ll want to let loose on your precious skin. The design is pretty innocuous but for some reason it just looks a bit tacky. The Wizzit is battery operated and the batteries aren’t included. They drain pretty quickly throughout use and it’d be much more efficient, not to mention cheaper in the long run, if it was rechargeable.

It’s pretty useless at removing fine and very short hairs and doesn’t work particularly well on longer hairs. I couldn’t use it anywhere except legs as it was too painful but even then it was a struggle. It’s just completely lacking the technology and design of the epilators from well-known brands.

A standard epilator cleaning brush comes with it but considering it doesn’t pull out many hairs, you may not even get to the cleaning stage! I would say it comes at a great price but no price is good if the product isn’t good and I think it’s worth investing more than this, even as a beginner.
